Sp’akw’us Feather Playground

This one is especially exciting for us. Not only is it our largest custom playground in a few years, it’s been an incredible collaboration between ourselves, HAPA Collaborative, Matthews West, the Squamish nation and the local children. The inspiration has been drawn from local Indigenous stories chosen by the children of Sta7mes School.

The showstopper is definitely the “cedar basket” tower with spiral slide, but we’ve also got log climbers, parkour, a net bridge, a large stave tunnel that opens into a separate viewing area, a spinner swing, a spider web relaxation net, music wall… We can’t wait to build it! With any luck it should be finished by April 2024.

Ucluelet Village Green

KinsolPlay is super duper excited to be the playground installer for the new Ucluelet Village Green revitalization project!!! ⁠

⁠In the mix we've got our shipwreck-inspired climbing and parkour combo with a "crowsnest" tower, plus an additional custom Tower with slide and spider net down below, and a swing set.⁠ Should have this project wrapped up by the end of March 2024 so plan your trip to Ukee accordingly!

Inlet Park Natural Play

Port Moody, BC

KinsolPlay will be installing a whole heap of our natural play creations for the City of Port Moody at the new Inlet Park project. ⁠

We've got a Log Climber/Parkour combo, one of our thrilling Tall Tower Slides, a play house, music wall, a custom log stack, plus some other assorted logs and stumps AND.... a couple of surprise carvings.⁠

Forest Circle Child Care

Campbell River, BC

The lovely team at Forest Circle Child Care have hired us for a refresh on the play structures in their magnificent outdoor space. We’ve got some unique problem solving to do on this one so as not to disrupt their infrastructure but we are totally up to the challenge!

We’ve got two tried and true KP classics going in - the Toddler Parkour and Toddler Tower Slide - plus a TBD custom structure with a slide that we an’t wait to start designing!

Champlain Heights Community Centre

Vancouver, BC

KP has the pleasure of installing this dynamo of a playground for the younger kiddos at Champlain Heights Community Centre in Vancouver, BC. ⁠

We've got a small Tower with a slide and various climbing options, a micro climber connected to the tower with a balancing log, plus some hideaway logs, and a small learning circle of log seating for some outdoor class gatherings! The logs have arrived on site already, so stay tuned to see this play space take shape!⁠

Christine Sinclair Community Centre Daycare

Burnaby, BC

Making our mark in Burnaby at last! We will be installing a semi-custom mash-up of a tower with slide and modified micro climber into this lovely little outdoor play area for the daycare in the Christine Sinclair Community Centre. And a mud kitchen is the icing on the cake here.

⁠We've had this in the works for a while now, having joined forces with MGB Architecture late last year to come up with a custom design and now we look forward to working with the team at Holaco Construction to finally install this great project! ⁠

South Kinross Tot Park

This sweet little play space for tots is coming soon! It's a custom combo containing a condensed micro climber, connected to some stumps, connected to a bridge, connected to some more stumps and logs, connected to a tower.... you get the idea.

Dockside Green Playground

Victoria, BC

KinsolPlay is working in collaboration with BOSA Development and eta Landscape Architecture to create a custom play space in amongst the thoughtfully landscaped Greenway that curves through their Dockside Green sustainable housing development.

We have custom designed a playspace that we hope will find a balance between our desire to keep play unscripted and our client’s desire to nod towards the nautical. If we’re being honest, we think we nailed it, and we are super excited about this one!
